| good news - my new camera has arrived!! woohooo! so far i charged the battery. yesssssssss. now all i have to do is wait for Kara to figure out how to use it and then teach me. =)
bad news - my laptop has died on wednesday. worse news...my updated resume was on there along with a few pictures. it died in the middle of me applying to a job too! which means....delays in the job search....arrrrrrg....sigh. I guess the jobs which deadlines were this week are not the jobs God wants me to have.
semi-good news - the laptop will still work. I'll just have to reformat everything. =( hmm...is it time for a new laptop? too bad i don't have a job to buy a new laptop. although, a new laptop would really help my job search hahah
other good news - i backed up most of my stuff. besides my updated resume of course

| so long, farewell, good bye to my faithful Canon S410 Digital Elph we had a good run. You stuck by me for 7 wonderful years, capturing so many memories, some I wished I could forget, some I am happy I'll never forget because of my wonderful S410. Even when I had no case for you or dropped you or swung you around my wrist when I was bored, you remained strong. It is a sad day indeed.
This is what my Canon S410 looks like. I just saw my camera online selling for $82.99! what a steal since I bought mine for $300!! To be honest it still looks pretty modern.
It is a bittersweet time, because I love my s410, but now I have an opportunity to buy a new camera. I didn't think my camera would ever die espcially since I've been using tape for the past 2 years to keep the memory card slot door closed. Man, my S410 was a tank!! So since it was so faithful and durable, I am sticking with Canon's elph's. I will be ordering soon for an early bday gift to myself and awaiting it's arrival to meet my new camera. Woooo!! I only hope we will have as great a relationship as my S410, although none can replace what I had with my S410. It is the start of a new exciting relationship with the Canon SD790 IS =) I hope it's as excited to meet me as I am to meet him(or should it be a her? hm).
Well the pictures aren't uploading...so if you want to check it out do a search online hhaha sorry. I was going to post a picture of the back of my S410 and the front and back of the SD 790....i'll try again tmrw. =)

| i think Satan makes things/situations seem so close to perfection to make us stumble. If it weren't for that one small piece missing everything would be perfect...and sometimes it's so easy to just ignore that one small piece, but the fact is that one piece is missing and God tells us we need that piece.

| lots has happened as when life happens. good times and some bad, but mostly good. and the bad well you just learn from it so really it's good haha...hope that made sense.
I was reminded of something i wanted to share about. I was reminded that when you struggle with something in your life you want to change and you continue to fail, you just have to keep trying or else the cycle will never end. Like when I want to be more patient with people who annoy me. Sometimes I'll react with the first mean spiteful thought that comes to my mind just to cut them down. But I know I have to remember that peoples intentions usually are not to hurt and if they are, why would I want to hurt someone back? I can only control my own thoughts and actions. I try and try sometimes i succeed in reacting with patience but sometimes I fail. But if I don't try to become more patient, I will never break that cycle.
so anyways update since the last post this has what happened....
grandparents 60th wedding anniversary party. it takes a lot of work to last 60 years in marriage. Congrats! I hope when or if i get married it'll last as long as theirs.
school started

Visit to SFMOMA. I have a new love for museums since taking my art class. Although I liked museums before, I find I enjoy them a lot more now.
went for a weekend of wine tasting for Evelyn's birthday....pretty tasty if you ask me. The soup they made was the best or maybe i was just hungry. I had seconds though haha
Visit BAM (berkeley art museum) I liked this museum better than MOMA, but I think it's cause it was less crowded.
weekend in the snow - not to snowboard, but a lot of fun hanging out. I have realized I'm more of a sand and sun person tho. =) Although I like sledding/tubing or whatever you want to call it.
House hunting with Joy has been fun. I'll continue to pray that God will show them the right house.
Mel came to visit for her spring break. Got to spend a lot of time with her. Can't wait to see her again in May for her Graduation from Opto school!
Auntie Violet from Texas visited, She's always so much fun! I wished i could have spent more time with her. She is one of those women who are so encouraging, but so real at the same time. Not fake or judgmental ya know? She is a very Godly woman too, so wise, always seeking the will of God and full of faith. I admire that.
My cousin Cyrina and Shawn have their first kid. I'm a (what do you call your cousins kid?) 2nd cousin??
Lunch with erik, bobby and vanny which made me miss living in the city.
PCC's good friday service. Was really great, good time for reflection and focus on the sacrifice that was made. I am so undeserving and so grateful, although my gratitude will never be enough.
Easter service. always fun! Great service! the dance team and drama did a wonderful job! I also loved the video! i saw it liked 3 times and each time i cry. we also had an egghunt and games who doesn't love that?
Oh yea and I gave up beef and sweets (dessertish and candy stuff) for lent. It was pretty hard at times especially when i really wanted a burger. or when my family cleaned the whole counter off besides a brownie that sat there tempting me for 2 days! it looked so moist and good.
add in a whole lot of eating out, family dinners, projects and schoolwork and thats what's been going on. job hunting too. Pray that I will find the right job for me. so far nothing has been working out. I'm thinking of just applying to anything, even outside of what i want to do.
i'm looking forward to the sun. bonfires, bbq's, parks, summer time music (you know those songs you play in the car that are perfect for sunny days with your windows down), going to the pool with the kiddies, and just waking up to sunshine. it just starts your day off right for some reason.
whats your favorite activity when the sun's out?
One more question - what do you do when you want to hang out with friends, but don't want to go out to eat anymore? this has been a problem i have yet to solve. only a few want to walk or exercise with me. =(
